Another outstanding phone release from the Search engine lord Google is expected to be a week away. The Google Pixel and Google pixel 2 are starting to gain lots of attention and rumors are circulating about the device that is said to be a week away from its launch.
Google pixel is aimed at the same market as iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8, Google pixel also has the tablet variant which is the Google pixel C.
Google pixel specs and features
The Google Pixel is expected to be launched on October 4th. Google is set to improve on the Google pixel smartphone and has partnered with HTC. Remember the Google pixel and Google pixel XLwas launched in October 2016 and it seems that is what Google wants to maintain this year as the launch event is set to be on October four.
Google has not confirmed the Google pixel phone release date but we suspect it would be around the end of October.
According to a rumour the price for the Google Pixel 2 phone will be starting from $649 just like the predecessor, but the Google pixel XL is expected to cost around $849.
The Google pixel 2 phone is said to have a screen size of 4.97 inches and the screen resolution of 1080p. There is also the rumour that phone will come with a curved screen, this is because Google has tried to order for OLED screens from LG display company. Another rumour suggests that only the Google pixel 2 XL will have the curved screen.
Another source disclosed that might have an always-on function, thereby making it easy for you to glance your notification and time easily.
The Google pixel 2 has a lot in common with Samsung Galaxy S8.
The Google pixel 2 is said to have a fingerprint scanner on the rear face, it is water resistant and could be IP67 certified meaning that it can be put 1 meter deep in the water for up to 30 minutes.
The Google pixel 2 has a 12MP rear camera and 7MP front-facing camera, both the rear and front are expected to come with image stabilization. The battery is expected to have 2700mAh power.
Google pixel 2 smartphone will make use of snapdragon 835 chipsets, 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage.
Google pixel 2 is also expected to have squeezable sides like HTC U11 and also dual front cameras and the phone is to run on Android 7.2 OS and upgradable to 8.0.
There is also talk about E-sim which will allow changing network without changing SIM Card. The phone has metal and glass back.
Google Assistant has been upgraded to 2.0 and its available in Google pixel 2 and Google pixel 2 XL.
With the release of iPhone 8, Google pixel might face challenges.
